Fulaishan Fm
Type Locality and Naming
North-central Shandong. The Fulaishan Fm was named by the Team of Phosphorites of the Comprehensive Brigade of the Bureau of Shandong Geology (1960) and introduced by Zhang Zengqi (1996). The type section is located in Fulaishan Hill, Juxian County, Shandong Province. Coordinate: E118º43´00´´; N35 º 36´00´´. Upper-middle formation in Tumen Gr

Lithology and Thickness
The Fulaishan Fm consists mainly of fine sandstone to siltstone interbedded with a few shales and sandy-muddy limestone. It is 30-180 m thick.

Relationships and Distribution
Lower contact
Conformable on the Tongiazhuan Fm.
Upper contact
It is conformably overlain by the Shiwangzhaung Fm.
